Memories of April Showers
When I was a kid I loved walking in the rain with an umbrella (when there was no Kansas lightening of course). Mom let us put on our swimming suits and splash in the rain and puddles. These are great memories and they inspired this April Showers coloring page. I spared you from the swimming suit part though!
We also had a carnival at school each year and they gave away little bamboo and tissue paper umbrellas that I used to play with my dolls. I couldn't pass up buying some when I saw them in the store. They were the perfect props for these photos. They will find their way into a tea party with the older grands sometime soon.

There are many advantages to coloring with children. Of course, it is relaxing and enjoyable, a great time to visit together while doing a simple project.
