What's For Lunch Roundup Post

How about some fun and easy recipes that your budding chefs can learn to make this summer? Here are three recipes in our What's For Lunch Roundup Post that will fit the bill.

Teach a kid to ask what's for lunch and you will feed them once, teach them how to make lunch and you feed them for a lifetime! HA!

Here it is!! Easy Peasy Grilled Cheese

SAVING THE DAY/MEAL

What does a person turn to when it’s 5 minutes to meal time, there are hungry grands around and there’s no meat thawed? Why, a grilled cheese sandwich, of course! There’s nothing easier, more cost effective, or satisfying. The grands will love to help and will never starve when they leave home someday.

Catch the recipe here for Easy Peasy Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.

How about Chicken or Turkey Rollups for Lunch?

LEFTOVER CHICKEN OR TURKEY IDEA!

What do you do with that leftover chicken or turkey? How about making our Leftovers Chicken or Turkey Wraps Recipe?

FAST AND EASY MEAL FUN WITH THE GRANDS

The grands can help you make these up quickly and easily. What an easy lunch to have while they are still around. All you need are a few ingredients and a few minutes.

Make up a plate full or put out the makings and let each person make their own. I usually put things out buffet style. That way everyone gets what they want on their own wrap. Do what fits your style best.

Don't be fooled by the name of the post, use this idea with leftover chicken or turkey- find the recipe at: Thanksgiving Leftovers Turkey Wrap Recipe.

Corn Dog Muffins for lunch

We have a recipe for a corn dog look alike that is fast and easy to make with no need to deep fat fry. Our grands love State Fair Mini Corn Dog Muffins and like to help making them.

Try your hand at making State Fair Mini Corn Dog Muffins. You'll find the recipe here: State Fair Mini Corn Dog Muffins.

Enjoy!
