No-sew Felt Thanksgiving Napkin Rings
Make No-sew Felt Thanksgiving Napkin Rings to complete your holiday table serving. Cute, simple, low cost, colorful leaf fall napkin rings!
Where did my set of No-sew Felt Napkin Rings come from? Who knows? I’ve had them for years. Mine were flowers but I wanted something for all so I had the idea of making fall leaf napkin rings instead. We will try the flowers later!
Are you ready for a fun and easy project?
What colored felt leaves would you like?
I keep a stack of felt squares on hand as I pull it out and use it so often. You can pick up felt squares at any craft store. I used brown, orange and yellow for the three leaf colors and used the orange for the brighter top leaf which is also the ring part which holds the napkin.
Choose whatever fall colors you would like of course. I thought a burgundy, gold and brown combo would be nice- or a red, orange, and green or brown. Please attach a picture, I’d love to see what colors you decided to use!

If you are making a larger number of fall napkin rings it would be helpful to copy the pattern on card stock. Then cut it out and trace around it to make all that you need.
Tip: Roll up one of the napkins you plan to use and see if the napkin ring will be large enough to go around it. Wrap the long pattern piece around your napkin and the straight part between the leaf ends should fit around the rolled napkin. You could also make one and try it out. If not large enough, add the length of the center section of the long piece (or decrease if too big).
Homemade Thanksgiving Napkin rings
Cut out one of each of the three pattern pieces in the colors you have chosen. Remember that the top leaf on the napkin ring will be the color of the larger, long piece.
Cut the slit in each of the two leaves and stack them with the slits lining up with one another.
Putting these together is so fast and easy, there is no glue or sewing needed.
Pull one end of the last, long piece through the slits in the leaves. Then pull the second end of that same long piece through the slits in the leaves.
See how these two ends come together to look like a third leaf? How fun, it worked!!
Take a couple seconds to straighten the leaf out and hand press it, so it stays open.
That’s it! Easy-peasy! Fall napkin rings!
You may want to go ahead and slip the Cute Turkey Thanksgiving Favors onto the rolled napkins, so they are ready to set on the table for Thanksgiving or whatever occasion you are preparing for.
Roll the napkin up so that it is slightly smaller in diameter than the size of the napkin ring. Slip the napkin into the ring and let it open up slightly, so it fits the ring.
