Childhood Treehouse Memories

When I was young, my older brothers built a tree house for my younger brother and I. It sat in between four large branches and was the backdrop for hours upon hours of imaginative play. A long ladder leaned up against the door and we climbed up almost every day in the summer time. In that tree house there were overnight sleep overs, picnics, water fights, and clubs to fill the long, hot days.

I love my brothers for thinking to build that treehouse for us!

A large tree with green leaves.

Even A Tire Swing...

We also spent hours swinging on the old swing that hung from the largest branch. So many of our creative dreams were launched as we swang back and forth.

Such good memories.

The tree is still there but the tree house and swing are long gone.
