St Lucia Day celebration

In our Swedish community and in our Swedish home we celebrate St Lucia Day on December 13th. I wish I could come to each of your homes and offer cookies and coffee!

I can offer you these pictures though, of St Lucia's Day being celebrated in my daughter's home on in my home, and me going to some friend's place of business as St Lucia.

We have had so much fun making craft and activities together and sharing them with friends and family. There are so many ideas hatching for 2023, we can't wait!

Connecting- to self and others

I’m hoping that you do even more in 2023 to nurture and connect with your creative energy and ideas. It can bring joy to your heart in good times and in even more so in challenging times.

And at the same time you can connect with those you care about as you work with your hands and share conversation and experiences.

Nurturing our kids

If you have kids or grandkids, it is especially important to give them opportunities to experiment and try crafts and activities as they develop their interests and skills. Who knows how they will take this forward with them into life?

But most importantly, in the moment they are with people who care for them and nurture them. There is relationship opportunity in these shared times.
