A Winter Coloring Page for Kids
It’s truly winter at Nana’s house. We recently received a 6” snow and it looks like a winter wonderland outside! The falling snow reminded me of the snow globes we made!
I loved a snow day inside to draw this special Winter Season Coloring Page for you, sip some spiced chai (Nana’s favorite) and to stay in my PJ’s all morning.

The grands will enjoy coloring this Winter Season Coloring Page that is complete with a hat, mittens and snowflakes, of course.

- White cardstock paper- I prefer printing coloring pages on white cardstock but you can also use white copy paper.
- Colored pencils- I love Prismacolor Colored pencils but you can use any colored pencils, markers, or crayons.
- Pencil sharpener and eraser- For sharpening or erasing your colored pencils.
Free Winter Coloring Page Download
Make your own copies (it's free!) and invite your grands over to color and visit. Here's a link to download and print the free Winter Season Coloring Page.
Print off the copies on Cardstock paper in white and have the Colored pencils, crayons, gel pens, or colored markers handy.

Other fun snow day activities
You could also make a cup of home-made hot chocolate together using this simple recipe at WTN.
Put on those hats and gloves of yours and go outside to make your own snowmen if you live where that is possible!

Winter Wonderland Coloring Sheet Variations
Here are a few variations you’re welcome to try with this Winter Coloring Page:
- Use glitter glue or glitter on the snowflakes and the snow on the letters (anywhere you would like actually).
- Glue on buttons, pom-poms, sequins or craft gems to the picture when you are finished coloring it.
- Glue on cotton balls to the pom-pom and edge of the hat and mittens.
- Try painting the picture with acrylic craft paints or watercolor for a fun change of pace. Be sure to copy on cardstock if you do!
Snail Mail Treat
My grands don’t live close by so I make them copies and send them in the mail. Snail mail from Nana is a treat (bills are not). Try it and let me know what they think.
