Free Printable Father's Day Coloring Page!
How about a Free Printable Father’s Day Coloring Page to help you wish your great dad a happy Father’s Day?
Dad will love a Coloring Page colored just for him. It's for a dad that’s "Dressed for Success" with his kids!
Fun activity
This is a fun activity for the whole family and the pictures will be a special gift for an extra special dad.
Both younger kids and older kids will enjoy the detailed coloring pages. You'll enjoy seeing dad's face light up when he sees the different coloring sheets finished in his favorite colors.
Print off the coloring sheet
Print off a copy of this hand drawn, cute Fathers Day coloring pages. I always suggest printing them off on white cardstock but copy paper will work as well.
With cardstock markers don't soak through the page and it doesn't wrinkle and bend as easily. But it also works to print it out on regular copy paper as well.
It's a PDF file that is a free download for your personal use. Here is the link: Free Father's Day Coloring Page Free Printable.
With cardstock you could fold it and make it into a card if you wanted to. You could tuck in a sweet gift like a candy bar and let dad know he’s extra special. Or make him a handmade gift (like a boondoggle keychain). I’m sure you could think of many other creative ideas as well!
Kids of all ages will enjoy these free coloring sheets. Have them take out their favorite crayons, markers, or colored pencils and create something special. It's a great way to tell dad that he is an amazing dad.
Note: My favorite pencils are Prismacolor Colored Pencils. They have such bright colors and color smoothly on the page.
Dressed for success (as the best dad)!
The theme of this free Father's Day coloring sheet is Happy Father’s Day of course. But the picture that I drew for dads features a number of different shirts that your dad might wear.
No matter which kind of shirt he chooses he's "Dressed for Success" as your special dad.
Which shirt does your dad usually wear?
Papa (my husband) is usually seen in the plaid western shirt that’s featured on the top left of this free coloring page. He loves working with cattle and being outdoors. He is a super dad and I'm very thankful to have had him as my partner in raising our kids.
My dad usually wore a suit to work. But as soon as he got home, he put on a work shirt and headed outdoors. He’d always say, "Come on, let’s go have some fun!" And he invited us to join him in working outside or in his shop. He was a really special dad.
Maybe your dad also wears a western shirt, a work shirt, or a suit. But maybe he is most comfortable in a T-shirt, hoodie, or a Hawaiian shirt. You'll have fun coloring all of them in!

The history of Father's Day
In the United States, Father’s Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June. It’s a great opportunity to honor our beloved dads.
The holiday was first started in the early 20th century (about 1910) by people that thought it would be a good idea to celebrate Fathers the same way that Mothers were celebrated. Mother's Day was already an established holiday. (Sorry dads!)
It was celebrated for many years before it become a national holiday. It wasn't until 1972 that Richard Nixon signed it into law. Mother's Day had been a national holiday since 1914 when Woodrow Wilson signed it into law (sorry again dads)!!
Mother’s Day is celebrated the second Sunday in May in the United States and we featured a free coloring sheet for her as well! Check it out at this link if you’d like to see it: Mother's Day Free Coloring Page Free Printable.
Of. course "every day is Father's Day" when you have a wonderful dad! So be sure to let him know how special he is today.
It doesn't take huge gifts. He will love your hugs and acts of kindness on this special day (and every day).
