Nana's Countdown to Christmas!

Join Nana as she reads through a fun advent book in this special countdown to Christmas for kids!

A book called "Charlie & Noel, An Advent Calendar Story" with a picture of a stuffed animal donkey and a Christmas tree on the cover.

Let's Celebrate the Advent Season!

I love the advent season, there are so many special traditions, memories, and reasons to celebrate together. One of my favorite family traditions has been keeping an advent calendar.

Ours is a brightly colored, hand sewn felt nativity scene. Each character added takes us one day closer to Christmas!

🎄 A Fun Christmas Countdown for Kids

This year I wanted to invite you to join me in reading our way to Christmas! Each day you can watch along as I read through one of my favorite Christmas books, "Charlie & Noel - An Advent Calendar Story", by Franziska Macur.

This is a sweet story about a boy who learns about the true meaning of Christmas (spoiler - it isn't presents!). I read this story to my grandchildren several years ago and we loved it, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

At the end of each day there are some family discussion questions to give you an opportunity for conversations with your kids. It's a fun way to count down the days until we celebrate, plus spend some quality time together as a family.

Watch Along With Me!

Read for story time? You can find all the videos here on my YouTube channel!

Thanks for joining me during this special advent season.

Know some family and friends who might want to join along? Send the Youtube playlist to them too and let's count down to Christmas together!
