"We All Scream For Ice Cream" August Coloring Page

The hot days of August are made for ice cream and for an August Coloring Page!

This month’s Coloring Page is full of ice cream treats to color. I tried coloring with an ice cream cone in my hand. Trust me, it doesn’t work very well. You may have to do one thing at a time!

Home-made Ice Cream!

When I was growing up we loved making home-made ice cream on the back patio. Someone would inevitably say, “I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!” I have no idea where that comes from, but I was always ready for ice cream. I still am!

Print off the sheets to color with the grands. What is their favorite flavor of ice cream? What is yours? Color the cones your favorite flavor colors and get creative with sprinkles or whatever you want. Don't worry if you can't decide on a flavor, you can print off as many of these as you'd like!

Head Out For A Dip of Ice Cream

When you’re done, go for a dip of that favorite ice cream together. If you live at a distance, send copies of the coloring sheet and a few dollars or a gift card for them to go get ice cream. Have them send a picture or FaceTime you while they are eating their ice cream treat.

There’s always a way to connect with those you love. Why not through ice cream!

I think ice cream is my love language! 🙂
