A Peek Into Nana's Craft Closet
How about a peek into Nanas Craft Closet? But, oh my, you have to promise not to tell on me!
It’s always time for craft time at Nanas! Why not keep a few craft items on hand at your house, so you are always ready for a little creative fun?
Caution! Spontaneous Crafting!
Last weekend some of the grands were home and making a craft was on their to do list. I had a couple ideas in mind. So, off to Nanas Craft Closet we went and we pulled out the things we needed to make a simple paper craft. They had a blast and the oldest even came up with a craft idea of her own for she and her sister to make.
Your Craft Closet
Starting your own “Nana's Craft Closet” doesn’t need to be extensive OR expensive – in fact, sometimes the simplest, silliest things are the most fun to use for your creations! Last weekend the base of the craft was a cardboard toilet paper roll!
Remember, you don’t have to fill an entire closet to be ready for arts and crafts. You could use a tote or a basket if that's a better fit for your house. Do what fits you, your family and your home.
BUSTED! Craft Hoarder Revealed
OK, so Nana has a bit more than a “few’ things in her craft closet. Don’t judge (my students at school are always saying that, it makes me laugh!). Guess I have a bit of a thing about craft supplies, huh?
It’s hard for me to throw out the extra stuff from all the projects over the years. This represents a lifetime of craft supply hoarding- perhaps I need counseling or to be a guest on one of those reality shows. Ha! Seriously, you don't need this much stuff to make fun crafts with the grands.
