This May coloring page is full of spring time flowers to color with the kids. They will enjoy the project and you will enjoy sitting and visiting while you color together...or printing off one of your own and coloring too!
So, April showers DID bring flowers, flowers to color that is!
Supplies

The Prismacolor coloring pencils are by far my favorite pencils to use for any colored pencil work. They are vibrant in their color and draw very smoothly. I'm pondering a larger set!

I'm drawing a coloring page for each month of the year plus some for the seasons and the holidays. It is so much fun to do. I love thinking of people printing off and using them with family and friends. These coloring pages are also a great way to practice and celebrate each month with kids learning more about the calendar!
Coloring Pages for the Spring Season
What is your favorite season of the year?
Mine is spring (and I love fall too). In Kansas the cold wind, leafless trees, and brown grass make a person eager for spring. It is so exciting to see the trees and bushes begin to bud out and the grass turn green.
But the most exciting thing of all is when the first flowers bloom. The early daffodils and crocus are a burst of color in the brown surroundings. They remind us that the flowering trees and other flowers are coming soon. Please, no late freeze to nip them in the bud!
This coloring sheet hopefully captures that feeling of spring and budding flowers.
Benefits of Coloring
I don't have to remind you that coloring is a relaxing activity that helps lower anxiety and stress. So, if the grands aren't coming over anytime soon, make a copy for yourself, grab your colored pencils, pour a cup of coffee and dive in.
Coloring is great for all ages, kids and adults alike!
