Fireworks are fun!
Fourth of July fireworks are so much fun with the grands. I love to "ooooh" and "aaaah" as we watch them light up the sky!
Color while you wait for the show to begin
But what do we do while we wait for it to get dark? Little firecrackers can get so wiggly! How about coloring a Grand Old Flag July 4th Free Coloring Page together? That can pass some time!
Pack up your coloring supplies
Pack up a tote bag with some colored pencils, clip boards (or pieces of cardboard). Print off a coloring page for each of the kids and one for you, of course. I’m always game to color, too, aren’t you? Click here to get the free coloring page.
Spread out the blanket, use the bug spray and keep the little firecrackers entertained with some coloring.
Red, white and blue...and...?
Do the littles know about the flag? Where to put the red, white and blue colors? This flag is actually the correct number of stars and stripes so you can tell the littles about it as you color.
Red, white and blue are great colors to use for the flag, but what other colors may “pop” up in the fireworks show? Have some fun!!
Be thankful- be kind-
Remember to appreciate all the good in our country and to be kind and compassionate to others!
