Free April Baby Birds Coloring Page

Published: Apr 11, 2019 · Modified: May 2, 2023 by Shelly · This post may contain affiliate links · Leave a Comment

Spring brings baby birds and animals.

One of our favorite books when the kids were small was “The Baby Animals Party”. All the baby animals in the meadow collected up small gifts to bring to the newest baby in the meadow, a baby deer. Each baby animal joined the parade going to the baby animal’s party. It was so sweet. Unfortunately it is out of print now.

The Baby Animals' Party by Katharine Ross

But...this Free April Baby Birds Coloring Page shows that there will soon be new baby birds up in the branches of our trees!! The bluebirds have come back to our birdhouse to build their nest and all of the birds are singing so loudly.

It's spring!!!

Let’s have our own baby animals party!

Why not gather up the grands and lay a blanket out on a warm afternoon? Lay still and listen for as many bird calls as you can. Do you know what type of bird makes that call?

Color the April Baby Birds Coloring Page and enjoy the spring weather together. Perhaps you can even find a nest of birds. (Remember not to touch it or disturb the birds.) My sister has a bird that makes a little nest on the spring floral wreath she hangs on the front door!

What do you enjoy doing in the spring?

Drop off copies of the coloring page in the mail to the grands that live far away and have a coloring contest. What colors will you color your birds? Do you have trees that have flowers budding in your yard?

Here is the link to the Free April Baby Birds Coloring Page again for your personal use. Put up a picture of your finished coloring page. I can't wait to see it!

Want more coloring pages like this? Purchase and download all 25 seasonal coloring pages in one printable coloring book, "Fun Through the Year Coloring Book", now in Nana's Shop!
