Make a Teacher Xmas Gift in 5-10 Minutes!

Having been a teacher for about 27 years, I loved getting novel and useful gifts like this whisk teacher Christmas gift. The whisk and chocolate Hersheys Kisses inside are a definite A+!

This great hostess Xmas gift or teacher Xmas gift from a whisk can be made in about 5-10 minutes with the kids helping or making it themselves. Let me show you the easy step-by-step process.

It has simple but showy packaging and I promise it will "stir up" some holiday cheer for the recipient.

Colorful whisks, cellophane wrapping, markers, scissors, candies and printable notes.

Cute Craft Alert: Stocking Stuffer Gift

My good friend, Becky, gave me a “I WHISK you a Merry KISS-mas” gift several years ago. I thought it was so clever. And what cook doesn’t need a new whisk as well as a “Kiss” in the kitchen?

I’m going to make some for stocking stuffers for the ladies in my family this year and thought I’d share the idea with you. I thought they would make wonderful Christmas gifts for teachers or your host/hostess too.

Supplies for a DIY Teacher Xmas Gift

Here are a few quick notes about the supplies you will need to make this xmas hostess gift or teacher xmas gift!

  • Whisk- The smaller sized whisk holds the candy better .
  • Hershey Kisses candy- Purchase a large bag of Hershey Kisses.
  • Whisk Hostess Gift Free Printable- Print off a copy of the labels or make your own. Here’s the link: Free Printable Link for DIY Teacher Xmas Gift: Whisk & Hershey Kisses.
  • Cellophane wrap- Cellophane wrap on a roll like gift wrap works well. I used clear.
  • Ribbon- Simple curling ribbon works well but any ribbon can be used to tie the top of the gift.
  • Scissors-
  • Hole Punch-

Steps to Make a Christmas Presents for Teachers

  1. Color designs on the labels found on the ***Whisk Hostess Gift Free Printable. Cut them out on the heavy black lines. Use the hole punch to place a hole on the left end of the label.
  2. Cut a piece of clear cellophane from the roll. Cut the length as long as it is wide- into a square. Place the whisk on the cellophane so the large part of the wires is at the center of the square.
  3. Fill the wire area of the whisk with Hershey Kisses. Kind of hold them in place while you wrap the cellophane up, surrounding the handle of the whisk.
  4. Use the ribbon to tie around the handle of the whisk. Tie a knot to hold it in place. Add the label onto the ribbon and tie it on. Then tie the ribbon into a bow.
  5. Curl the extra ends of the ribbon. Trim up the top of the cellophane to be shorter if it is too long. You’re done. About 5-10 minutes, right?

Craft Tips Last Minute Xmas Gifts

These tips can help making your homemade Christmas gift even easier!

  • Purchase the smaller sized whisk (about 6 inches long) instead of the large one as the candy stays in place better.
  • Larger whisk- You could place the Kisses inside some plastic wrap, so they stay in the larger whisk better.
