Instructions

  • Gather your supplies to make the Giant Hershey Kiss. You will need to cut off the small tab on the edge of the funnel that you use to hang it up.
Place a half piece of tissue paper into the funnel to line it.
  • Pack the funnel with small items. Such as candy, a small toy, heart shaped ornament, gift card, jewelry, tickets to an event, money, etc. You could include a heartfelt message too!
Wrap the ends of the tissue paper over the funnel contents.
  • Wrap the funnel with plastic food wrap or a recycled plastic shopping bag. Set the funnel down into the bag, pull the bag up towards the tip, twist it and then pull back down. Leave the opening of the spout open or clear.
Wrap a couple more plastic shopping bags around the funnel to create a triangular shape. Tape them into place.
  • Cut a one-inch strip of paper from a piece of white copy paper. Write “KISSES” on the strip with a blue marker
Roll the end of the paper up into a point and stick it down into the opening of the spout on the funnel.
  • Tear of two twenty-inch-long pieces of aluminum foil. Set them one on top of the other in a cross shape.
Set the funnel down on the center of the foil and bring it up over the funnel. Press it against the funnel to get a good triangular cone shape, like a Hershey Kiss. Cut off extra foil if it is too much. Press the top of the foil tight around the tip of the funnel and around the paper coming out of the funnel.
