- 3 tablespoon Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 4 Eggs
- 1 ½ tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 8 slices of Bread
- Butter
- Toppings optional: butter, syrup, powdered sugar, fruit, nuts, whipped cream
Add the flour to a medium mixing bowl, the then whisk in the milk until all the lumps of flour are gone.
Next, add the eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt and cinnamon and whisk until combined.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Pour the batter into a shallow dish that is larger than the bread slices, then dip each slice of bread into the batter to coat both sides.
Place the coated bread on the skillet. Fry until the first side is golden brown, then flip and repeat on the other side.
Serve warm with whatever toppings you and your little chef choose!
